You sneak out of hospital for the evening? Hit the gym of course! Ok, so I am not always that disciplined but after nearly another week in this place and being pumped up on more steroids than a Le Tour winner I needed to do something, make my lungs work and BREATHE (those lovely health club aromas).
May is also Cystic Fibrosis awareness month. The more I experience this disease and connect with other patients stories, the more I feel compelled to share my own. I know how lucky I am to be here; to be alive, I know there are many others that aren't as blessed. They inspire me to keep kicking this devils butt and no matter what... Just keeping swimming (or jogging or riding!) <3 <3 <3
