First MTB Race

Today was my first MTB race and with such an early start and long day I'm alittle short on words, so I will leave this picture with a small description -

From this creek crossing  it went straight up a hill, a steep muddy hill, then across another crossing and then up a bigger hill that was steeper again, to finally winding into an even higher hill. Today was tough, it was like my 1st triathlon all over again. I finished and had a great day, and was happy to finish in 16th place in the Open Mens X Country.
