With This Ring

I was never sure whether Cam would want a wedding ring and I have to say his decisiveness that we wanted one surprised me a little (in a good way). I like that he also put a lot of thought into the piece he chose - something that would be tough and withstand all the 'stuff' he does without needing to be taken off, but also something that tied in to my rings. He really thought it through and spent time finding the ring he really wanted with a bit of help from the wonderful team at Mondial Neuman. Today I was feeling a bit under the weather and unfortunately Cam couldn't be at home all day to help out. I know he worries about being away from me when I am feeling off because things can go downhill pretty quickly. I have never really gotten used to wearing an engagement (and now wedding) ring - it's just so pretty and I can't help but look at it, but I forgot just how new having a piece of metal on his finger was for Cam. It was nice hearing him say on his arrival home how much he likes wearing his ring because it makes reminds him of our love even when we are apart. There really is so much to be said about having a special ring (or two) on ones finger.
