A Me Picture, But An Us Post

So this was taken this morning on the Gold Coast racing for an undisclosed team in the BRW Nissan Corporate Triathlon team. This was my second year at this great event, but also the second time Jess has been unwell at the same time, meaning she was unable to come and support; though I am sure she was there spirit.

It's a a tough proposition to ask my body to run to succeed, where Jess asks hers to run (when well) jog (when on the slide) or walk (when unwell) just to see tomorrow, without feeling that the balance in life isn't present. I guess that sometimes this imbalance can present as guilt.

The main thing is that I appreciate the support I receive, even though it must be tough to give.
